Provide relief from out-of-control costs: Fight to eliminate the grocery tax, suspend the gas tax, deliver tax relief for homeowners, and rein in rising insurance premiums.
End violence against women: Invest in domestic violence shelters and care for survivors, strengthen gun safety laws to keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers, and clear the backlog of untested rape kits.
Reduce gun violence and keep our neighborhoods safe by requiring universal backgorund checks, banning military-style assault weapons, and strengthening our extreme risk lawsk to keep guns out of the wrong hands.
Invest in our region and create jobs: Rebuild our infrastructure by backing the Rebuild Illinois program, which is investing $45 billion in our infrastructure, creating and supporting 540,000 jobs.
Train for the jobs of tomorrow: Invest in vocational education, skilled trades training, and apprenticeship opportunities to prepare the next generation for high-wage jobs.
